From the parking lot of the tiny hamlet the route climbs above Cavallar along the winding road that summer with moderate salt slope in the beautiful alpine meadows up to the spacious areas larch wood. Along the way are visible 11 numerous animal tracks etched in snow and, If you are lucky, silent and careful you can observe them in the spots clear of snow under the firs. The survival of animals during the winter period is determined by the savings of energy which is why it is important not to scare them unnecessarily. Near the Malga Artisè the path goes up the pastures below until you reach the malga (1.890 m) (2.30 h). From here you can enjoy a wide view over the Val di Rabbi and the mountains that surround it.

From here along the path you reach the Malga Cespedè (1.892 m) (3 h) and, following the folds of the ridges that descend from the top of Sas Fora, After the wide valley of Corvo, you reach the Malga Paludè Alta (2.054 m) (4 h). Place where you can enjoy sweeping views over the Val di Rabbi and the distant Mountains, This is an easy sighting of the Golden Eagle that takes advantage of the updrafts created along these sunny slopes. Downhill along the track of an old mule track leads up to the Low Paludè (1.835 m) (5 h) and from there along the Woods and open spaces to the parking lot of Cavallar (6 h).
